World Cup Gets Week's Biggest TV Promo Focus
With the World Cup in full swing, Fox is promoting its live game airings everywhere. According to iSpot data shared with Promax, the 2022 FIFA Men's World Cup was the most-seen programming ad from Nov. 21-27, with over 711 million TV ad impressions (more than 2x the next program).
So many eyeballs on Fox also gave the network an opportunity to push other shows and live sports, and it took full advantage. Special Forces: World's Toughest Test was the No. 2 most-seen network promo on TV during the week, while its college football promo (around the de facto Playoff play-in game between Ohio State and Michigan) was No. 4.
