NBC remains at the top of the ranking for the second week in a row, increasing its viewership share from 12.89% previously to 19.74%, thanks largely to programming around the 2024 Paris Olympics. Meanwhile, Fox News remains in second place but saw watch-time decrease from 7.29% to 5.64% week-over-week.
Some more insights around last week’s most-watched TV networks:
- ABC overtakes CBS for third place, with its viewership share driven in part by Good Morning America, ABC World News Tonight With David Muir and the NFL preseason Hall of Fame game.
- Fueled by Olympics coverage, USA moves from seventh to fifth place week-over-week, while E! rises up four positions to No. 16.
- There were two week-over-week ranking newcomers: Syfy (No. 22) and Golf Channel (No. 25).
