Wingstop TV Advertising Taking Flight In 2024
According to iSpot data, through the first half of 2024, Wingstop’s est. national TV advertising increased by 115% year-over-year. That continues a trend that began in Q4 of 2023, when the brand spent $13.5 million.
- Wingstop’s yearly national linear TV advertising has largely stayed in the same range in recent years; the brand spent an estimated $29.7 million in 2021, $37.2 million in 2022 and $34.4 million in 2023 – but has already spent $32.1 million this year.
- Much of Wingstop’s spend through the first half of 2024 has been centered around premium programming like the NBA (52.7% of spend), NFL (22.5%) and men’s college basketball (14.0%).
- Wingstop didn’t advertise during live NFL games during the first half of 2023, and NBA spend grew by 71% YoY, while men’s college basketball spend was up 53%.
