Wingstop Flies To Top Of Most-Seen NBA Brands List

With the 2024-25 NBA regular season wrapping up on Sunday, we used data from iSpot to take a look at the top brands during national TV games (so first-airing games that appeared on ABC, ESPN, NBATV and TNT).
Most notably, Wingstop flew up the rankings to become the most-seen brand during NBA games this season.
- Wingstop grabbed 2.15% of all national household TV ad impressions for the NBA this season, which was No. 1 among all brands; topping fellow QSR advertisers McDonald's (1.96%) and Popeyes (1.80%), who were the closest competitors.
- During the 2023-24 regular season, Wingstop was the No. 9 brand by impressions, increasing reach by nearly 31% year-over-year.
- While national NBA games had high attention overall (32% above the norm by attention index, according to iSpot), Wingstop still topped that mark as well, at 37% above the norm.
- Wingstop's attention during NBA games rose 21 points year-over-year, and attention for the NBA climbed by 22% year-over-year, as advertisers scored some clear benefits from appearing during games.
