Many NFL advertisers are static from one season to the next, but there are also exceptions as brand priorities and spend change from year-to-year. As part of a mid-year look at the NFL, iSpot data shares the biggest NFL advertisers from the 2023 season that have yet to appear during national linear TV games so far for 2024.

  • Household TV ad impressions for the U.S. Army are down about 35% year-over-year during the NFL season timeframe, but the Army did air ads during MLB games in fall of 2024 after not doing so last year.
  • TV ad reach for Panera Bread is actually up 26.5% year-over-year despite not appearing during live NFL games, as the brand deemphasized sports in favor of a more varied strategy around entertainment programming.
  • Salesforce cut TV ad airings by more than half year-over-year during the timeframe of the NFL season, pulling away from NFL and college football ads in favor of select spots during the World Series, NASCAR and golf events.
