Viewers Are Spending More Time With LiveNow Over Competitors On Social Video
LiveNOW hit 717.3 million U.S. minutes watched in February.

For many cordcutters, LiveNOW from Fox has become an easy and free resource to keep up with the company’s live news outputs. That reliance has only increased over the last year, as LiveNOW has become one of the top TV-related channels in the U.S. across YouTube and Facebook, according to Tubular Labs.
- LiveNOW hit 717.3 million U.S. minutes watched (across YouTube and Facebook) in February, which was up 110% month-over-month, and nearly 600% year-over-year.
- Better still for LiveNOW, minutes watched per viewer are rising above competitors as tune-in for its consistent live news airings climb as well. In February, U.S. viewers watched 9.1 minutes of LiveNOW videos on average – which is higher than the figures for Fox News (5.8), MSNBC (7.5), NBC News (5.8) and ABC News (3.4) – among many others.
With so many videos running for 24 hours or longer straight, the consistent feeds keep audiences engaged, and can attract advertisers as well in a fashion much like traditional TV.
