In Tubi's new report with The Harris Poll, The Stream 2025, there are numerous audience insights focused in on Gen Z consumers, and how they behave when it comes to streaming content. On TVREV, Jon Lafayette digs into the larger narratives around the report. But some key highlights from Tubi and The Harris Poll's findings:

  • 96% of those surveyed found reasons to watch content that was released 10 or more years ago, and 82% of Gen Z respondents reported they browsed streaming services to discover older content.
  • Price matters: 76% of Gen Z viewers claimed they'd end a streaming subscription over an increased price (notable when so many services are increasing monthly costs); on a related note, 81% thought watching ads was a fair trade-off for lower prices on services.
  • 71% of Gen Z consumers responded that searching for what to watch was exhausting, versus 55% of the general population.
