Toyota Was TV's Most-Seen Automotive Brand In October
Automakers spent 12.2% less on national TV ads year-over-year in October, according to iSpot data shared by MediaPost this week. TV ad impressions were also down 5.5% as car brands seemed to move even more buys to NFL programming.
Toyota was the most-seen brand, with 10.44% of automaker TV ad impressions, followed by Lexus (8.65%) and Hyundai (7.60%). Lexus saw the largest increase in impressions among the top 15 advertisers – climbing 66.4% year-over-year largely on the strength of the NFL.
