Since 2010, the number of brands advertising nationally during the Super Bowl has jumped nearly 57%, according to data from iSpot. As one of the few major TV events that still promises extensive, engaged audiences, it’s no surprise that brands are eager to get in on the action. 

  • With that increase has come a 30% rise in brand ad minutes during the Big Game.
  • The average number of brands advertising during Super Bowls from 2010-2024 was 44.7, with 2011 seeing the fewest (32) and 2024 seeing the most (58). 
  • The number of ads has also jumped, up 20% from 2010 to 2024, with last year again seeing the most (66).
  • There are already 51 brands confirmed to be advertising nationally during this year’s Super Bowl.
