Last week's debate was the first (and probably only) opportunity for voters to see U.S. Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris square off before Election Day. Tubular Labs data reveals social video trends coming out of the event.

  • The most-viewed YouTube video about the September 10 presidential debate within the first 48 hours was ABC's live debate coverage, which garnered 13.2 million views and 149k engagements.
  • Vice President Harris has seen a significant surge in interest overall – Tubular data shows that U.S. videos about Harris have garnered 2.3 billion views in the last 60 days (versus just 133 million in the 60 days prior).
  • ABC News, like other news outlets, was part of that overall surge, too. The network accounted for 26.3 million YouTube views about Harris in the last 60 days; No. 12 among all U.S. news & politics creators.
