Spanish-Language TV Ads Surged in 2023
As the Spanish-speaking population in the U.S. grows, brands are increasingly placing an emphasis on reaching those consumers. According to iSpot’s TV Transparency Report, from 2022 to 2023, the number of brands advertising in Spanish grew by 27%.
A few more insights from the report:
- There were 368 billion Spanish-language TV ad impressions in 2023, a 19.3% year-over-year increase.
- Although Telemundo decreased ad minutes by over 2% year-over-year, it increased TV ad impressions by 18.5% compared to 2022.
- Industries with notable Spanish-language TV ad impressions growth in 2023 included cleaning supplies (+100%), beer (+41%) and online retail (+47%).
