For the first time in over a month, NFL Network makes it into the ranking (and even the top ten), notching a 2.95% viewership share for the week thanks in part to its broadcast of three NFL games on Saturday, December 16. NFL GameDay Kickoff also fueled some of the network’s watch-time for the week.
A few more insights around the most-watched networks:
- NBC takes first place, up from second place previously, capturing 7.33% of all minutes watched. Sunday Night Football, Today and The Voice were three of the programs driving watch-time on the network.
- Although Fox remains in fourth place week-over-week, it saw watch-time rise from 5.08% previously to 6.68%, with viewership steered primarily by NFL games.
- AMC continues to march up the chart, moving to No. 20 thanks to holiday movies including National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Elf and Fred Claus.
- Aside from NFL Network, the only other week-over-week ranking newcomer was Nickelodeon, which landed at No. 27 with a 0.95% viewership share driven in part by episodes of Friends, SpongeBob SquarePants and Mike & Molly.
