A heartfelt spot from Ram Trucks received 269.5 million national TV ad impressions, putting it in first place on iSpot.tv's most-seen auto ads ranking for May 8-14, according to data shared with WardsAuto. It was also the No. 1 spot for estimated national TV ad spend ($1.8 million) and ad airings (2,580).
- A Dodge ad for the new Hornet took second place with 217.5 million national TV ad impressions and, per iSpot's Creative Assessment, 31% of surveyed viewers considered the best thing about the commercial to be the visuals.
- Chevrolet and Infinity take third and fourth place, respectively, with about 190 million national TV ad impressions each.
- Sports commentary programming was a key driver of the 150.6 million impressions that Lexus's fifth-place spot received.
