Prime Video Enjoys 64% Increase in Earned Media Value
The NFL and Victoria’s Secret were top drivers of Earned Media Value for Prime Video in October, per CreatorIQ.
An October analysis from CreatorIQ reveals that live streams are a boon for streamers, and not just in terms of viewership. Thanks in part to social media buzz around NFL games and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Prime Video saw the largest month-over-month increase in Earned Media Value (EMV) among streaming platforms, at 64%.
- In total, Prime Video netted $44.9 million in EMV across the month, putting it in third place among video streaming platforms.
- #NFLPlus was the No. 1 EMV-generating hashtag, racking up $5.9 million. Additionally, NFL-owned social media accounts fueled $6.1 million in EMV.
- Social media accounts owned by Victoria’s Secret generated $7.1 million in EMV across 60 pieces of content.
