Paramount+ Leads Streamers for February Growth in Earned Media Value
Paramount+ netted $29 million in Earned Media Value (EMV) in February — a notable 151% increase from its January EMV — making it the top streamer by month-over-month growth, according to a new analysis from CreatorIQ. It also led for year-over-year EMV growth, with an 81% increase from February 2023.
- Additionally, Paramount+ saw an expansion of its community, up 65% vs. January, with a 62% increase in posts about the streamer.
- Much of that momentum came from Super Bowl activations: #SBLVIII and #SuperBowl were Paramount+’s top hashtags, generating a respective $1.6 million EMV and $1.2 million EMV.
- Looking purely at EMV, Netflix was the No. 1 video streamer ($101.7 million EMV), followed by Prime Video ($31.2 million), while Paramount+ ranked third.
