NBC takes first place on the chart with a 7.02% viewership share, fueled in part by coverage of the 2024 U.S. Summer Olympic Trials. ABC slips from No. 1 to No. 2 week-over-week with 6.50% of watch-time, while Fox News secures third place with 6.26% of minutes watched.
A few more insights about last week’s top TV networks:
- The first presidential debate helped CNN rise from No. 24 previously to No. 9, with the network capturing a total viewership share of 1.75% for the week.
- Telemundo cooked up notable watch-time, jumping from No. 48 to No. 22 week-over-week, largely thanks to Top Chef VIP, a Spanish-language adaptation of NBCU’s hit franchise that aired new episodes on six of the seven days of the week measured.
- Univision, meanwhile, moves from No. 10 previously to No. 7, with watch-time propelled by Copa América USA 2024.
- Aside from Telemundo, additional week-over-week ranking newcomers include BET (No. 24) and History (No. 25).
