Nightcap continues to rise up the ranks as one of sports media’s biggest social video creators. Tubular Labs data reveals that the show, hosted by retired pros Shannon Sharpe, Chad Ochocinco Johnson and Gilbert Arenas, increased its unique U.S. viewers across YouTube and Facebook by 43% month-over-month, while minutes watched climbed by 52%.
- This minutes-watched increase, in particular, pushes the channel into a solid No. 2 spot among all U.S. sports creators – only behind the NFL.
- Along with its trademark candor and notable personalities guiding the way, the show also finds success with a high volume of video uploads. In January alone, Nightcap uploaded over 330 videos, and more than half of those were at least five minutes long.
