NFL's Top 'New' Advertisers Through Three Weeks

NFL advertisers have a lot of consistency year-over-year, usually featuring similar lists of brands who have budgets and target audiences that align with TV's most-watched programming. But the league does get some newcomers every year, as data from iSpot shows.

  • Nationwide Insurance did not appear during NFL games last regular season, but is a top-30 brand by household TV ad impressions this year so far as it leans into its "Paintin' Manning" spot.
  • Election season is off to a strong start, as the Kamala Harris campaign has accounted for 0.83% of TV ad impressions during games so far (similar to experienced NFL advertisers like Michelob and Modelo).
  • PayPal's new Will Ferrell spot, "Pay Everywhere," has helped fuel the brand to 0.80% of NFL ad impressions, No. 2 among financial and banking brands (only behind Capital One credit cards).
