NFL Playoffs Catch Over a Third of All Weekend TV Watch-Time

The divisional round of the NFL Playoffs utterly dominated TV viewership this weekend, capturing a 33.62% viewership share across Saturday and Sunday according to Inscape data. That’s an increase from the 2023 divisional round weekend games, which captured a 27.48% share.
- Supporting playoff coverage and NFL-specific programming accounted for another 4.7% of weekend minutes watched, bringing the NFL’s total to a staggering 38.3%.
- Postseason NFL Countdown, which captured a 1.62% viewership share, was the No. 3 most-watched program Jan. 20-21, up from 0.86% the previous weekend.
- Not included in the first point above, but worth calling out is that SportsCenter was the No. 4 program with 1.35% of watch-time, up from 0.67% the previous weekend (No. 12 program on TV).
