After Taylor Swift spent 2023 (and parts of 2024) growing her reach with NFL fans, is Beyoncé about to run her own big play to expand her audience with football fans, too? The announcement that the superstar would perform at halftime during Netflix's Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans Christmas Day game could be part of the larger story.

  • According to Tubular Labs data, the NFL and Beyoncé's official VEVO account on YouTube overlap by just 8% in terms of social video audience – leaving a lot of potential converts available for the Houston native.
  • Beyoncé's overlap with Netflix isn't all that high either, at 15%, which also represents an opportunity for Netflix to expand its own reach as well with Queen Bey's loyal listeners.
  • Buoyed by her Cowboy Carter album in March, Beyoncé's VEVO page has enjoyed a successful year – with 948 million views since Jan. 1, closing in on last year's 1.1 billion.
