NBC Wins for Weekly TV Network Watch-Time
The network captured 8.02% of all minutes watched on TV last week, per Inscape.
Each week, we highlight the most-watched shows and networks using insights from Inscape, the currency-grade smart TV ACR data provider and data technology division of Vizio. Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching). NBC takes first place for the third week in a row, but saw watch-time decrease slightly, from 8.33% to 8.02%. The Voice, Today and college football were three of the programs fueling viewership on the network.
Additional insights around the most-watched networks from October 9-15:
- Thanks to NFL, college football and MLB games, Fox jumps into second place with a 7.49% viewership share, while ABC remains in third week-over-week with a slight decrease in minutes watched (down to 7.32% from 7.82% previously).
- TruTV rockets into the ranking at No. 19, with its viewership increase driven primarily by MLB games.
- Additional week-over-week ranking newcomers include TNT (No. 24) and Lifetime (No. 25).
