NBC Continues Winning Streak for TV Network Watch-Time
NBC captured 6.45% of TV watch-time across Aug. 19-25, per Inscape.

NBC has enjoyed a solid month in first place on the TV network ranking, although its viewership share has been on the decline since the Olympics ended. It captured 6.45% of watch-time across Aug. 19-25, down from the previous week’s 6.59%. Programming fueling viewership included Today, NFL preseason games, PGA Tour golf and coverage of the Democratic National Convention.
A few more highlights around the top TV networks:
- Fox News remains at No. 2 but saw its watch-time decrease from 6.35% previously to 6.28%, with top programs including Fox & Friends, America's Newsroom with Bill Hemmer & Dana Perino and America Reports with John Roberts & Sandra Smith.
- Meanwhile, MSNBC rises from No. 6 to No. 5, with its 3.86% viewership share bolstered by DNC coverage.
- Investigation Discovery jumps up four chart positions week-over-week to No. 15, with watch-time driven in part by People Magazine Presents: Crimes Of The 2010s, See No Evil and American Monster.
- Week-over-week ranking newcomers included Nickelodeon (No. 23), Discovery (No. 24 and Hallmark Mystery (No. 25).
