For the second week in a row, there was no movement among the top seven networks in the chart. ABC is holding steady in first place and increased its viewership share from 6.66% previously to 8.49%, thanks in part to the NBA Finals. Other programs driving watch-time included Good Morning America, ABC World News Tonight With David Muir and Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
A few more insights around the most-watched TV networks:
- Sports also helped CBS and NBC increase their viewership shares week-over-week: PGA Tour golf for the former, and the French Open for the latter.
- Although they maintain chart positions week-over-week, ESPN and Fox News both saw a decrease in watch-time.
- Nickelodeon rises up five spots to take No. 17, thanks in part to reruns of Friends.
- Week-over-week ranking newcomers include History, Comedy Central and Discovery. History had the most notable jump, from No. 30 previously to No. 23, with American Pickers and Ancient Aliens as two of the programs driving watch-time.
