Nationwide has long been an NFL sponsor, but has ebbed and flowed in recent years as a top advertiser during live games. The insurance brand sat out last season completely, yet is back as the top "new" advertiser year-over-year by household TV ad impressions – according to data from iSpot.

  • While the Kamala Harris and Donald Trump presidential campaigns (and associated PACs) were among top "new" advertisers, plenty of brands also broke the list.
  • Corona and Pepsi both appear here, though parent companies were regular advertisers during the 2023 season (same for Apple Card, which is just outside the top 10 for "new" advertisers despite Apple and various subsidiaries appearing plenty during 2023).
  • Nationwide, PayPal, TurboTax were all true, new year-over-year additions that found significant reach through the season's first 10 weeks; notably, TurboTax is one of the top brands during the NFL Playoffs each year, but adjusted strategy this year.
