MrBeast's Global Gains
Even as many individual creators are fighting declining month-over-month audiences and minutes watched dip across Facebook and YouTube given the general focus on shorts, MrBeast still stands tall – according to October Audience Ratings data from Tubular Labs.
- MrBeast’s global minutes watched were up 16% to 7.1 billion in October.
- While other top U.S. creators are busy making shorts for domestic audiences, MrBeast is building global cachet with longer video formats. In October, just 1 billion of his minutes watched were in the U.S. – so 6 of every 7 minutes were watched outside of the country.
- MrBeast can also keep attention (and minutes watched) by simply posting longer videos. In October, 40% of his videos were at least five minutes long, and 16% ran for over 10 minutes.
- Longer videos not only keep audiences watching, but also provide more opportunities for brand integrations and ads (which are significantly harder with shorts).
