Per data from iSpot.tv, for the week of Nov. 7-13 two of the top five spots ranked by TV ad impressions came from Lexus.

Automakers are one of the most ubiquitous industries when it comes to TV advertising, but which ads are breaking through the noise? Per iSpot data shared with Wards Auto, two of the top five spots from Nov. 7-13 (ranked by TV ad impressions) came from Lexus.

Both spots had a "Wizard of Oz" theme, with vehicles driving over literal yellow brick roads. Together, the ads racked up over 528 million TV ad impressions during the week measured, more than the other three spots on the ranking combined.

  • The Lexus spot "Characters" had 350.5 million TV ad impressions, putting it solidly in first place for most-seen auto ads.
  • "Unfollow" was in third place with 177.8 million impressions.
  • While NFL and college football games delivered top impression counts for both spots, Family Guy was also a top-five program by impressions.
