Crime does pay, at least by social video views. Law & Crime Network saw September U.S. minutes watched across YouTube and Facebook jump by 51% month-over-month according to Tubular Labs data, much due to the recent Diddy scandal.
- The channel also saw minutes watched per unique U.S. viewer climb by 26% month-over-month, with audiences watching an average of 46 minutes of content in September.
- Law & Crime Network has shown steady growth over the last year, and is now among the top 10 creators by U.S. watch-time, and trails channels like MeidasTouch and MSNBC for media minutes watched.
- In September, Diddy was a driving force for views. Diddy accounted for eight of Law & Crime Network’s top 15 videos for the month, and most of those ran for over 20 minutes (one top-performing upload ran for an hour and 10 minutes).
- Law & Crime Network was an even bigger draw with women. In the U.S., it was the top media creator among women, and women accounted for nearly 55% of its minutes watched in September.
