Vertbaudet, a leading European retailer of family and children’s products, needed a strategy to turn first-time buyers into returning customers. It worked with relationship marketing company Marigold to launch a ”welcome” email and SMS campaign that offered timely coupons based on the initial purchases. A few of the results:
