Hallmark Channel Hits Holiday High Points
Hallmark Channel's holiday season emphasis isn't just a win for consumers, but advertisers as well.
Data from iSpot shows how Hallmark Channel's strongest months by share of TV ad reach are directly tied to its holiday programming. In both November and December (through Dec. 17) of 2024, Hallmark Channel was the No. 7 network by share of household TV ad impressions delivered.
- Over the course of the year this year, Hallmark's average ranking is No. 9.8 – and before November, it's 10.4; showcasing Hallmark's ability to gain greater importance for advertisers during the holiday season.
- Interestingly, the top month for Hallmark, in terms of TV ad impressions SOV ranking, was actually July for its "Christmas in July" programming special, as the network was No. 6 while taking advantage of a slower TV calendar (especially when it comes to sports) to break through with audiences.
- Retail advertisers, in particular, flock to Hallmark Channel during the November to December sprint; Four of Hallmark's top five brands by share of reach have been retailers (Kohl's, Amazon, Target and Walmart).
