Furry Friends Help Subaru Secure Most Likable TV Ads in Q3
"Dog Tested: Everybody In" was the No. 1 ad by likability in Q3 2023, per iSpot.tv
For years Subaru has harnessed the endearing nature of dogs to capture attention for its TV ads, and Q3 2023 was no different: iSpot data reveals that the automaker owned two of the top five most likable spots across all industries with ads from its long-standing "Dog Tested" campaign.
- "Dog Tested: Everybody In" was the No. 1 ad with a likability score of 799 (100th percentile). Surveyed viewers considered the spot's characters (aka the pups) to be the single best thing about the ad.
- Subaru also owned the No. 3 ad, with "Dog Tested: On Repeat" scoring 773 for likability.
