Each week, we highlight the most-watched shows and networks using insights from Inscape, the currency-grade smart TV ACR data provider and data technology division of Vizio. Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching). Here's a look at the top 25 networks by viewership share for October 28 through November 3 — head over to TVREV to see the program ranking and get insights about the top shows by watch-time.
Thanks largely to the 2024 World Series plus football, Fox claims first place on the ranking, capturing nearly 11% of all minutes watched during the week. CBS takes second place (7.70% viewership share), with top programming including the NFL, college football, The Price Is Right and CBS Mornings.
A few more insights around the TV network ranking:
- The three major cable news networks retain their ranking positions week-over-week: Fox News at No. 5, MSNBC at No. 7 and CNN at No. 9 — but each saw a slight bump in watch-time.
- Hallmark and Hallmark Mystery continue to woo viewership with holiday programming. Both saw watch-time grow week-over-week, but Hallmark remains at No. 8 while Hallmark Mystery moves up from No. 22 to No. 20.
- Paramount Network was the sole week-over-week ranking newcomer, jumping from No. 44 previously to No. 22. Its 0.72% viewership share was largely fueled by Yellowstone reruns.
