Trump Bump Or Simply A Trending Topic?

While the "Trump Bump" may have waned for media, the former president remains a major topic of discussion among U.S. content creators. Tubular Labs data shows the top U.S. creators by YouTube video views about Donald Trump over the last 30 days (Sept. 10-Oct. 9, 2024). Some callouts from that data:

• Independent progressive news org Meidas Touch has the most views by far about Trump with 230 million, and is one of the main topics of all of its top 25 videos during the timeframe.
• Traditional news also earns significant views from Trump videos. MSNBC, Fox News and CNN all had over 80 million YouTube views about him (Brian Tyler Cohen also had 119 million as an independent progressive host while being a regular on MSNBC).
• The Daily Show gets significant bang for its buck on Trump videos, hitting 80.1 million views on just 55 related uploads (the top five all had over 100 uploads). Jimmy Kimmel Live had even more success there per videos, with 76.3 million on 21 uploads.
