Can Disney, WBD Maximize Audience Reach With New Streaming Bundle?

As streaming prices rise and consumers look for ways to cut down on the pure number of subscriptions they have at once, bundles are back in play. One of the most recent, between Disney and Warner Bros., provides access to content across Hulu, Disney+ and Max. And it winds up the move has the potential to expand the audiences of all three services – as new data from Parrot Analytics shows.

  • Max, Disney+ and Hulu share less than 5% of small screen titles across their libraries, according to Parrot Analytics’ Content Panorama, with minimal TV overlap between the three, providing distinct content collections.
  • Hulu will supply the largest TV catalog of the three services (42%), followed by Max (39.7%) and Disney+ (13.7%).
  • But: Many consumers are already subscribed to these services and may not transition to a bundle offering, suggesting a potential growth ceiling for the combined service.
