An incredibly successful video series like Hot Ones doesn’t need hit movie tie-ins to earn large audiences, but it also helps to get an extra boost, as data from Tubular Labs shows.

  • First We Feast, the home of Hot Ones, saw U.S. minutes-watched surge 53% month-over-month to a one-year high of 266 million minutes. Along with that, domestic unique viewers on those platforms also jumped to 17.6 million, up 46% month-over-month and also high over the last 12 months.
  • The culprit, in part, was Deadpool. A 25-minute interview with Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman scored 24.5 million views – by far its most-watched video of the year (there’s a 10.5 million-views gap with the No. 2 video).
  • Hot Ones also tapped into additional star power on the month in the lead-up to Reynolds and Jackman sitting in the proverbial hot seat. Serena Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, Donald Glover, Billie Eilish, Glen Powell and more also drove significant views as part of a milestone month for the show.
