Creator Marketing Insights: The Streaming Winners of H1 2024
Peacock racked up $128.6 million in Earned Media Value during H1 2024, per a CreatorIQ analysis.
In addition to sharing major trends from the past few years, CreatorIQ’s recent streaming report highlights a few of the services that stood out during the first half of 2024. Peacock is among the top three (not surprising given the Olympics), while audio streamers iHeartRadio and Apple Music also received accolades.
- iHeartRadio captured $90.3 million in Earned Media value across the first half of this year, a 101% year-over-year increase. The two biggest EMV drivers were The Breakfast Club AM and The Herd with Colin Cowherd, generating a combined $19.6 million.
- Even before the Olympics began, Peacock was benefitting big from buzz around the games. The NBCU-owned service racked up $128.6 million in EMV in H1 — a 7% year-over-year increase — with Olympics-related social hashtags collectively generating 22% of its total EMV.
- Thanks in part to collaborations with major music names including Beyoncé and Peso Pluma, Apple Music was another notable brand in H1, racking up 4.9 million impressions and 191.2 million engagements.
