Coachella season always leads to a lot of discussion on social media, and in particular, social video as attendees post about the litany of great acts throughout the event's two weekends. This year was no different, as Coachella has driven 7.1 billion global video views on TikTok since April 10, and is the No. 1 topic on the platform – all according to data from Tubular Labs.

  • Over 75K videos have been uploaded to TikTok about Coachella, and it's by far the most-viewed specific topic on the platform (only outpaced by more general ideas like "viral videos" and "humor").
  • Top hashtags for Coachella on TikTok this year: #Coachella (5.8B views), #Lisa (602MM), #LadyGaga (584MM), #BlackPink (529MM), #CoachellaOutfit (411MM).
  • The event's biggest pop came between the first Sunday (April 13) and the ensuing Monday, which combined for about 2.9 billion views – a number videos uploaded since could still reach.
  • However, it's notable that views for videos uploaded leading into (and including) the second weekend have not been nearly as high, with the event facing stiffer competition between the Easter holiday and NBA Playoffs during weekend two as well.
