For the second week in a row, CBS takes the top spot for TV network watch-time, with its viewership share increasing to 10.79% from 8.49% previously. That increase was driven in part by football, 60 Minutes and the network’s broadcast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. NBC also retained its ranking position week-over-week, but saw its viewership share rise to 8.95% from 7.45%, similarly aided by football and the parade.
Additional insights around the most-watched networks from November 20-26:
- Fox moves into third place from fourth, with watch-time jumping from 5.76% to 7.90% thanks to NFL and college football, plus both men’s and women’s college basketball.
- The holidays are in full swing on Hallmark and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, with both yet again seeing an increase in minutes watched. The latter saw a notable jump in ranking position, moving to No. 10 from No. 14 previously.
- On TNT, NBA basketball and broadcasts of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation fueled a notable jump from No. 21 to No. 12 week-over-week.
- Ranking newcomers include Paramount Network (which benefited from Yellowstone reruns), FX (which ran multiple Christmas movies including The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2 and The Grinch) and Oxygen (fueled by episodes of Snapped, Dateline: Unforgettable and Dateline).
