Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching). Here's a look at the top 25 networks by viewership share for December 4-10 — head over to TVREV to see the program ranking and get insights about the top shows by watch-time.
CBS rises from second to first place week-over-week, capturing over 9% of all minutes watched last week. Football continues to be a dominant force in watch-time for broadcasters (ABC was first the previous week, thanks to the college football conference championships), and December 4-10 was no different, with CBS benefiting from the NFL and the Army-Navy college football game, among other programming.
A few more insights around the most-watched networks:
- NBC moves from third to second place with an 8.04% viewership share. Programming driving watch-time included NFL games, Today and The Voice.

- AMC is also getting into the holiday spirit, with its rise from No. 29 to No. 21 fueled by holiday films including National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Elf and The Polar Express
