Here's a look at the top 25 networks by viewership share for November 11-17 — head over to TVREV to see the program ranking and get insights about the top shows by watch-time.
With a 10.09% viewership share, CBS is solidly in first place, up from No. 2 the previous week. Top programming fueling viewership included the NFL, The Price Is Right, CBS Mornings and 60 Minutes. NBC was slightly ahead of ABC, in second and third places, respectively. While both inched up a position on the ranking, they each had smaller viewership shares week-over-week, partially because election coverage inflated watch-time the previous week.
- Speaking of the election, after a big watch-time win the previous week, Fox News sinks to No. 4 with a 6.97% viewership share (down from 9.84%).
- Both Hallmark and Hallmark Mystery increased viewership shares and ranking positions vs. the previous week, thanks to their ongoing slates of holiday-themed programming.
- Rerun marathons helped propel TBS and ION up the ranking: TBS rises from No. 10 to No. 8, with its 1.64% viewership share fueled by The Big Bang Theory and Friends. ION harnessed Law & Order: SVU, NCIS, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire, among other programming, to rack up a 1.60% share.
- Week-over-week ranking newcomers include TLC (up from No. 29 to No. 22), Discovery (up from No. 27 to No. 23) and History (up from No. 34 to No. 25).
