Cartoon Promos Boost Amazon Prime Video’s Social Watchtime, Audience
The new show helped fuel a 41% increase in Amazon Prime Video’s U.S. unique viewers across YouTube and Facebook, and a 74% boost in minutes watched.
Even with a new wave of premieres on Amazon Prime Video last month, Hazbin Hotel seemed to be cranking out the most winning content for the streamer across Facebook and YouTube, according to Tubular Labs data.
- The new show helped fuel a 41% increase in Amazon Prime Video’s U.S. unique viewers across YouTube and Facebook, and a 74% boost in minutes watched.
- Debuting nearly five years after its pilot first appeared on YouTube, the animated show accounted for eight of Amazon Prime Video’s top 15 videos for the month (and nearly all of those were songs from the program).
- Amazon Prime Video had some of the largest reach of all brands on Facebook and YouTube last month – only trailing Intuit TurboTax and DoorDash, while beating out Temu.
- Showing audience growth is a major boost for the streamer. As Amazon and Amazon Prime Video work in tandem, more eyeballs on content can mean new consumers in the larger Amazon product ecosystem.
