Creators have grown to play an important role in our daily lives, with the ability to not only curate communities, but drive sales for brand partners. This “influence” is why Goldman Sachs projected the creator economy will reach half a trillion dollars by 2027.
But how is that growth playing out on a global scale? Well, creator marketing platform CreatorIQ recently looked at 2023 vs. 2022 year-over-year data trends for EU brand campaigns in its platform. Here’s what the company found:
- 22% increase in unique posts
- 80% increase in TikTok posts
- 593% increase in YouTube Shorts
- 22% increase in the number of creators
