BMW, Christopher Walken Claim Top Super Bowl Spot
After the Kansas City Chiefs were crowned champions on Sunday, another Super Bowl winner also emerged. According to iSpot Creative Assessment data, BMW's "Talkin' Like Walken" (featuring Christopher Walken and Usher) was the top Big Game ad by likeability.
- Despite a relatively low number of automaker brands during the game, the industry still performed well, with two of the three most likeable ads – with BMW at No. 1 and Volkswagen at No. 3.
- Autos reigned last year as well, with Jeep scoring the most likeable spot, according to iSpot.
- "Talkin' Like Walken" was over 17% more likeable than the Super Bowl norm this year, and scored well for Funny (among other emotions).
