The banking & payment industry – which includes banks and credit card companies – saw a significant year-over-year jump in TV ad reach during Q3, according to data from iSpot.

  • Banking & payment brands' household TV ad impressions grew by 19.89% year-over-year in Q3, with the industry rising by eight spots to No. 13 overall.
  • At 1.37% of all household TV ad impressions, banking & payments ranked just behind housing & home improvement brands (1.41%) and just ahead of laundry detergents & fabric softeners (1.32%).
  • JPMorgan Chase Banking and Chime powered much of the year-over-year rise, combining for nearly 40% of the industry's ad reach.
