Skyrizi, an AbbVie immunology drug, was the No. 1 prescription pharmaceutical brand when it came to estimated national TV ad spend in April, according to iSpot.tv data shared with FiercePharma. It spent about $29.8 million on TV ads, a slight decrease from March's outlay of $30.5 million.
Some additional insights around TV ads for the top pharma brands in April:
- In total, the top ten brands spent an estimated $177.3 million, about the same amount as March's top ten brands.
- Rinvoq, which was the top-spending Rx brand in March, took second place in April with an estimated national TV ad spend of $28.6 million, down from its March outlay of $32.4 million.
- Brands that did not make the top ten in March but did in February include Trelegy, Vraylar, Rybelsus and Ocrevus.
