Amazon’s Black Friday Deals Even Bode Well For Yetis
As the holiday shopping season looms, Amazon wants consumers to know about their early Black Friday deals.
The brand’s new spot, “Holidays: Lonely Yeti”, depicts the mythical creature as being socially rejuvenated, after discovering Amazon’s early Black Friday deals. Using data from iSpot, AdAge shares that the ad landed nearly 2.6 million impressions in the last 30 days (28% of industry), with an est. national TV ad spend of almost $21 million (34% of the industry’s total). The quirkiness of the ad seemed to pay off well for Amazon, as the spot held an attention index of 102, with 2% fewer interruptions than average.
