Each week, we highlight the most-watched shows and networks using insights from Inscape, the currency-grade smart TV ACR data provider and data technology division of Vizio. Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching). Here's a look at the top 25 networks by viewership share for July 1-7 — head over to TVREV to see the program ranking and get insights about the top shows by watch-time.

Although it had a very minor week-over-week increase in overall watch-time, Fox News moves up from third to first place on the network ranking. Its 6.29% viewership share was driven in part by Fox & Friends, The Five and America's Newsroom with Bill Hemmer & Dana Perino. NBC, the previous leader, slips to second place with 5.94% of all minutes watched.

Some other highlights around the network ranking:

  • Two networks maintain chart positions but increased watch-time from the previous week: Fox, which benefited from UEFA Euro 2024 soccer and MLB games, and Telemundo, which is attracting audiences with Top Chef VIP
  • Hallmark moves from No. 13 previously to No. 8, thanks in part to reruns of The Golden Girls.
  • There were two week-over-week ranking newcomers: Paramount Network (No. 15) and FX (No. 23). Reruns of Yellowstone fueled the former’s rise, while a slate of Marvel movies plus the classic Independence Day helped FX capture watch-time.

Major League Baseball and Wimbledon were the week’s programming winners — see the full chart on TVREV.
